Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • three years of management experience
  • three years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants fast food vending catering services institutional services mall food courts etc
  • ServSafe Certified
  • working knowledge of HAACP
  • strong culinary background in high-volume environment
  • strong management skills

  • proven ability to set up processes create efficiencies and solve problems with little to no direction
  • ServSafe Certified with proven working knowledge of HAACP
  • C.E.C. (Certified Executive Chef) a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead daily kitchen operations ensuring food quality safety and presentation exceed expectations
  • Develop creative seasonal and diverse menus tailored to student preferences and nutritional standards
  • Supervise and train a diverse culinary team promoting a culture of mentorship and professional growth
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and administrative staff to streamline operations and exceed client satisfaction
  • Manage food and labor costs procurement inventory control and sustainability initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all Sodexo local and federal food safety and sanitation standards
