Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • three years of management experience
  • three years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants fast food vending catering services institutional services mall food courts etc
  • servsafe certified with proven working knowledge of haacp
  • strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
  • strong management skills and experience
  • menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
  • proficient computer skills highly organized and detail-focused
  • proven ability to set up processes create efficiencies and solve problems with little to no direction

Job Duties

  • lead daily kitchen operations ensuring food quality safety and presentation exceed expectations
  • develop creative seasonal and diverse menus tailored to student preferences and nutritional standards
  • supervise and train a diverse culinary team promoting a culture of mentorship and professional growth
  • collaborate with front-of-house and administrative staff to streamline operations and exceed client satisfaction
  • manage food and labor costs procurement inventory control and sustainability initiatives
  • ensure compliance with all Sodexo local and federal food safety and sanitation standards
