Job Description

Currently, Sodexo is seeking an experienced Executive Chef 2 to lead culinary operations at LeTourneau University located in Longview, TX. This role specifically centers on managing residential dining and catering services for the campus. As an Executive Chef 2, you will be responsible for orchestrating all culinary activities to meet Sodexo's high standards and the unique needs of a vibrant college campus. This position plays a critical role in shaping a healthy learning environment by providing nutritious, high-quality meals that support student success and campus life.

The role entails overseeing purchasing, menu compliance, inventory management, food cost analysis, and production forecasting. The Executive Chef 2 will ensure that Sodexo Culinary standards, including recipe adherence and food quality, are consistently met. The Chef will lead, motivate, and develop team members to embrace culinary innovations, fostering a workplace culture that values creativity and excellence in food preparation. An essential part of this role involves enforcing strict food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards to maintain a safe and healthy environment for both staff and students.

Job Requirements

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Job Duties
