Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • supervisory experience in a busy food production setting
  • union experience preferred
  • experience in a client-facing or high profile role

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Implement and maintain processes and safety standards for the food services team
  • maintain food and health and safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements
  • effectively coach, mentor, and train staff
  • prepare orders and maintain appropriate inventory
  • bring innovative and creative ideas for retail, catering and patient services
  • cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in hospital
