The company manages a diverse portfolio of communities under the Oakmont Senior Living and Ivy Living brands, serving thousands of seniors across California, Colorado, Nevada, and Hawaii. OMG is dedicated to fostering a warm and supportive environment that feels like family, where team members, residents, and their families come together to create meaningful experiences. The organization puts a strong emphasis on caring and building meaningful relationships, which are viewed as the cornerstone of a fulfilling life. Team members are carefully selected based on their skills, experience, and passion for elder care, ensuring that the residents receive attentive and compassionate service. The atmosphere in OMG communities is vibrant with joy and laughter while maintaining high standards of excellence, reflecting the company’s pride of ownership and commitment to service.
The Executive Chef role at Oakmont Management Group is vital to the organization's mission of delivering exceptional food experiences that complement the high-quality senior living services offered. This position involves leading in a full scratch kitchen environment, where creative culinary skills and leadership excellence merge to set the industry standard. The role offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 to $75,000 and is designed for chefs who are innovators, trendsetters, and leaders in the culinary field. Candidates sought for this role are ambitious and driven professionals who are passionate about food trends, guest-focused menu creation, and leveraging next-generation technology in kitchen operations. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing a team, crafting seasonally curated menus using high-quality local ingredients, and maintaining consistency and excellence in food preparation and delivery.
The successful Executive Chef at OMG will be a results-oriented leader who thrives independently yet values collaboration, creating flexible, contemporary work environments that motivate the team and drive continuous growth. The role requires an individual who is competitive, focused, and passionate about hospitality and culinary innovation. Beyond managing kitchen operations and costs, the Executive Chef will build strong relationships with staff, residents, and guests, embodying OMG’s commitment to exceptional service and community spirit. The position is critical for maintaining the kitchen as a 'Chef’s Playground,' equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technology, enabling the culinary team to push creative boundaries.
OMG offers a comprehensive benefits package that underscores its commitment to employee well-being and support, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid personal and vacation days, and opportunities for bonuses. There is also a focus on life balance and financial security with programs such as a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, company-paid life insurance, and student loan refinancing. For those with pets or needing additional support, benefits extend to pet insurance and employee assistance programs, ensuring a supportive and inclusive work environment. Prospective team members must meet certain health and safety protocols to protect the well-being of all residents and staff, including background checks, health screenings, and compliance with COVID-19 safety guidelines.
