Job Description

Oakmont Management Group (OMG), headquartered in Irvine, California, is a prominent and highly respected leader in the senior living industry. OMG manages a diverse portfolio of senior living communities under the Oakmont Senior Living and Ivy Living brands across California, Colorado, Nevada, and Hawaii. With a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for thousands of seniors, OMG fosters an environment that emphasizes family, community, and meaningful relationships between team members, residents, and their families. This nurturing culture is built on the foundation of compassion, joy, and excellence — values deeply woven into every aspect of their service. The company hand-selects employees who bring not only their skills and experience but also a heartfelt passion for serving the elderly, making OMG an employer of choice for professionals dedicated to this rewarding field. Oakmont strives to create joyful atmospheres in its communities, where laughter and care exist alongside high standards of service and professionalism. Their commitment to quality and the wellbeing of their residents sets them apart in the senior living industry, making them a trusted name for families seeking exceptional care for their loved ones.

We are actively seeking an Executive Chef to join Oakmont Management Group’s culinary leadership team for their full scratch kitchen environment. This role offers an annual pay range of $95,000 to $100,000 and is an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals who aspire to thrive in a cutting-edge kitchen setting and lead with creativity and innovation. As the Executive Chef, you will act as the creative force behind our growing culinary operations, responsible for crafting and delivering exceptional, seasonal, fresh cuisine that delights residents and guests. Utilizing state-of-the-art kitchens described as "Chefs Playgrounds," equipped with the most contemporary tools and technology, you will design seasonal, guest-focused menus that reflect both the latest food trends and local, high-quality ingredients. The role demands a motivated and visionary leader who is ambitious, passionate, and results-driven — qualities that align perfectly with Oakmont’s culture of excellence and continuous growth.

Ideal candidates will be food-focused innovators ready to set new standards rather than follow existing ones. This position rewards hard work and tangible results and is designed for chefs who thrive in collaborative yet competitive environments. You will leverage next-generation culinary technologies to increase efficiency and creativity. The Executive Chef will also be a team leader who cultivates a flexible and contemporary work environment, fostering strong relationships with staff, residents, and guests. This role requires someone passionate about hospitality and the culinary arts, with demonstrated expertise in managing all aspects of a full scratch kitchen from menu development and food quality to cost controls and timely execution of dishes.

In summary, this role offers an exceptional platform for culinary professionals eager to drive innovation, uphold the highest culinary standards, and contribute meaningfully to the enriching residential experience at Oakmont Management Group communities.
