This position is perfectly suited for hospitality-driven individuals with a proven track record of success and a passion for creativity and culinary excellence. As Executive Chef, you will play a pivotal role in elevating Wind Crest’s innovative Signature Dining Programs by championing from-scratch cooking, developing chef-inspired menus, and creating memorable dining experiences that marry high standards of execution with genuine culinary artistry. The role requires a dynamic leader who not only manages kitchen operations but also inspires their team to maintain the highest quality of food preparation, presentation, and sanitation.
Wind Crest offers a comprehensive compensation package ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. Employment offers include full benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance; wellness reimbursements; generous paid time off; and paid volunteer hours per state law. The organization also provides a 401(k) plan with a 3% company match for team members aged 18 and older. Additional benefits include onsite medical centers for employees and their families, extensive education assistance, certification reimbursement, and access to over 6,000 online courses to support continuous professional development. Furthermore, Wind Crest is expanding and opening new communities, offering exciting growth opportunities for motivated staff members.
The Executive Chef will make a significant impact by ensuring efficient food purchasing, preparation, and presentation within budget while supervising all kitchen staff and managing back-of-house systems, core menus, and recipe integrity. The role also involves maintaining kitchen and equipment sanitation standards through monthly internal audits and ensuring strict adherence to federal and state food safety regulations such as those set forth by the Health Department and HAACP. Collaboration with the General Manager is essential to address and resolve any food production or presentation challenges promptly. Overall, the Executive Chef maintains high standards for food quality and plate presentation, ensuring every dining experience is exceptional.
