The Executive Chef role at CCL Hospitality Group offers a unique opportunity to lead culinary operations at a high-performing hospitality company known for its dedication to both employee satisfaction and guest experience. This position is responsible for managing daily kitchen operations which encompass recruiting, training, food preparation, ensuring quality presentation, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. The Executive Chef is expected to lead by example, showcasing culinary skills through direct involvement while mentoring and empowering kitchen staff to achieve excellence in food production and service. This position also requires strong financial acumen, as the Executive Chef is responsible for meeting monthly budgets, controlling food and labor costs, and maximizing profitability.
In this role, the Executive Chef guides culinary production, ensuring that meals meet quality, safety, and presentation standards. The chef designs menus inspired by seasonal and local ingredients, researches culinary trends, and innovates new dishes to delight residents and guests. Leadership and management of kitchen staff are critical, requiring the Executive Chef to uphold a safe, sanitary work environment and foster teamwork through clear communication, training programs, and performance coaching.
Moreover, the Executive Chef is deeply involved in business management aspects of culinary operations, including inventory management, purchasing, food cost controls, budget development, and labor scheduling. By analyzing operational data and forecasting needs, this role adapts to changing demands and sustains financial health within the department. Enhancing resident satisfaction through exceptional customer service, the Executive Chef empowers the team to deliver personalized and memorable experiences.
This position requires a minimum salary of $90,000 to $98,000 and offers additional incentives including a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Qualified candidates will typically hold an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and have a proven track record of culinary leadership in high-volume, complex foodservice operations. A ServSafe certification and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are highly desirable, reflecting the role's emphasis on regulatory compliance, safety, and technology use.

Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- ServSafe certified preferred
- Experience with high-volume, complex foodservice operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to maintain safety and sanitation compliance
- Strong financial acumen for budget and cost control
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Job Qualifications
