Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- ServSafe certified preferred
- Experience with high-volume, complex foodservice operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to maintain safety and sanitation compliance
- Strong financial acumen for budget and cost control
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent culinary experience
- Minimum 5 years progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Extensive catering and high-volume foodservice operations experience
- Hands-on chef experience
- Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Lead daily culinary production including meal preparation and presentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards
- Create menu offerings incorporating seasonal and local ingredients
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety protocols
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and food storage effectively
- Control food cost, labor, and other operating expenses
- Foster team engagement and provide performance feedback
