Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • ServSafe certified preferred
  • Experience with high-volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to maintain safety and sanitation compliance
  • Strong financial acumen for budget and cost control
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • Minimum 5 years progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Extensive catering and high-volume foodservice operations experience
  • Hands-on chef experience
  • Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary production including meal preparation and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards
  • Create menu offerings incorporating seasonal and local ingredients
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety protocols
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and food storage effectively
  • Control food cost, labor, and other operating expenses
  • Foster team engagement and provide performance feedback
