Job Requirements
- Minimum of five years of culinary experience
- Two or more years of experience managing high-volume kitchen operations
- Sushi experience preferred
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a noisy and distracting environment
- Physical ability to maneuver within the restaurant and operate equipment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of related culinary experience and/or training
- Two or more years of management experience leading back of house operations in a high-volume, full-service kitchen
- Sushi experience preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proven leadership skills and ability to foster team development
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Ensure a culture of positivity and accountability
- Execute operational excellence in food quality, service, and guest experience
- Drive, lead, and oversee all kitchen and sushi operations to impact profit and loss
- Oversee quality control for all menu items, portioning, and plating
- Hire, train, and develop kitchen employees
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion regularly
- Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
