Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of culinary experience
  • Two or more years of experience managing high-volume kitchen operations
  • Sushi experience preferred
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a noisy and distracting environment
  • Physical ability to maneuver within the restaurant and operate equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of related culinary experience and/or training
  • Two or more years of management experience leading back of house operations in a high-volume, full-service kitchen
  • Sushi experience preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to foster team development
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Ensure a culture of positivity and accountability
  • Execute operational excellence in food quality, service, and guest experience
  • Drive, lead, and oversee all kitchen and sushi operations to impact profit and loss
  • Oversee quality control for all menu items, portioning, and plating
  • Hire, train, and develop kitchen employees
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion regularly
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
