Job Requirements

  • Relevant culinary education or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience in upscale or Mediterranean cuisine
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work long hours including weekends
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive culinary experience, preferably in Mediterranean or upscale dining
  • Proven leadership experience as an Executive or Head Chef
  • Strong background in menu development and kitchen operations
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and build a high-performing team
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for quality ingredients, presentation, and guest experience

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage all kitchen operations and staff
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor kitchen team members
  • Develop and curate a high-quality, cohesive Mediterranean-inspired menu
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and consistency
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure proper food costing, portion control, and waste management
  • Maintain all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Establish efficient kitchen systems, workflows, and SOPs
  • Collaborate with ownership on seasonal menus and specials
  • Oversee kitchen scheduling and labor management
  • Ensure timely service and uphold excellence during high-volume periods
