In this role, the Executive Chef leads a diverse kitchen brigade, including lead cooks, cooks, dishwashers, and servers, while reporting to and supporting the center's General Manager on all food-related matters. The position emphasizes budget management responsibilities such as controlling food costs, labor, and supplies while overseeing monthly profit and loss assessments. Job Requirements
- 5+ years kitchen management or Executive Chef experience
- Current ServSafe certification
- Experience in high-volume entertainment, retail, hospitality, or restaurant venue
- Ability to recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff

- Ability to manage budgets and inventory
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications

- Extensive experience in banquet style events

- High-level profit and loss capability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
- Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
- Assist with cooking when needed
- Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the specified food program
- Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- Develop key staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
- Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules
- Comply with local Department of Health regulations
- Report critical issues to General Manager
