Job Requirements
- minimum of 5 years experience in high-end private clubs luxury hotels upscale restaurants or high-volume event venues
- knowledge of menu engineering inventory software and kitchen management tools
- ability to work in fast-paced environments
- high personal integrity professionalism and maturity
- ability to stand and walk around for 8 to 10 hours
- ability to lift 50 pounds bend stoop and raise arms above head on occasion

Job Duties
- oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including banquet and event catering
- partner with the General Manager to maintain kitchen budgets
- design strategy for kitchen area and set sales goals
- collaborate with food and beverage, events, and operations teams
- evaluate and improve kitchen operations and financial performance
- conduct daily briefings with kitchen staff
- report maintenance issues
- define and maintain luxury culinary identity
- enforce food safety and sanitation standards
- conduct regular kitchen inventories
- monitor food quality and execution
- oversee recruitment and performance reviews
- coach and mentor kitchen staff
- develop menu offerings including special dietary accommodations
- establish vendor relationships
- review and develop staff schedules
- perform line cook duties when needed
- attend staff meetings
- support special projects as required
