Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of executive chef or head chef experience in a similar cuisine
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to relocate to Raleigh, NC
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Experience with or willingness to obtain O-1 visa transfer if applicable
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in elevated or contemporary Indian cuisine
- Strong culinary foundation with advanced cooking techniques
- Demonstrated ability to create innovative and expressive menus
- Experience mentoring and developing kitchen teams
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory management, and cost controls
- Familiarity with Michelin-starred or James Beard–recognized culinary standards preferred
- Experience with new restaurant openings is a plus
Job Duties
- Lead the development of inventive and expressive modern Indian menus
- Manage all kitchen operations to ensure excellence and consistency
- Mentor and inspire culinary team members to achieve high performance
- Oversee inventory, budgeting, and cost control measures
- Collaborate with ownership to align culinary direction with brand identity
- Drive new restaurant openings and culinary program launches
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
