Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of executive chef or head chef experience in a similar cuisine
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to relocate to Raleigh, NC
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Experience with or willingness to obtain O-1 visa transfer if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in elevated or contemporary Indian cuisine
  • Strong culinary foundation with advanced cooking techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to create innovative and expressive menus
  • Experience mentoring and developing kitchen teams
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory management, and cost controls
  • Familiarity with Michelin-starred or James Beard–recognized culinary standards preferred
  • Experience with new restaurant openings is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead the development of inventive and expressive modern Indian menus
  • Manage all kitchen operations to ensure excellence and consistency
  • Mentor and inspire culinary team members to achieve high performance
  • Oversee inventory, budgeting, and cost control measures
  • Collaborate with ownership to align culinary direction with brand identity
  • Drive new restaurant openings and culinary program launches
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
