Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years related culinary experience and/or training
  • two or more years of management experience leading BoH operations in a high-volume, full-service kitchen
  • ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly
  • ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion regularly
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
  • physical ability to maneuver in restaurant and office spaces
  • ability to ascend/descend ladders or stairs
  • effective communication skills with customers
  • sensory ability to distinguish different tastes

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years related culinary experience and/or training

  • sushi experience preferred
  • ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • experience in quality control and portioning

Job Duties

  • Ensuring a culture of positivity and accountability
  • executing operational excellence in food quality, service and guest experience
  • driving, leading and overseeing all kitchen and sushi operations to positively impact P&L
  • overseeing critical quality control points for every menu item, portioning and plating to ensure dishes meet specifications
  • hiring, training and developing employees
  • exercising independent judgment and discretion regularly
  • handling sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
