Job Requirements

  • ability to obtain a Class III A gaming license
  • HACCP, State Sanitation Certification, or Serve Safe certification required
  • minimum 10 years of progressive culinary leadership experience preferably in a high-volume, multi-outlet casino or resort environment
  • proven track record of innovation, financial performance, and team development
  • advanced knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
  • strong business acumen, communication skills, and strategic thinking
  • valid WA State Health Card or Food Handler permit required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • be the face of Muckleshoot Casino Resort for new hires and team members
  • serve as a strategic partner to the Food and Beverage Director and senior leadership
  • drive culinary innovation by researching and implementing emerging food trends
  • lead the creation and launch of new culinary concepts, pop-ups, and signature events
  • assist in full P&L responsibility including forecasting and budgeting
  • collaborate with finance and procurement teams on vendor relationships and contracts
  • conduct ROI analysis for menu items and capital investments
  • develop systems to capture and analyze guest feedback
  • design and execute VIP, loyalty, and special event culinary experiences
  • champion a culture of hospitality and high service standards
  • lead crisis management and business continuity planning
  • maintain knowledge of regulatory changes and update policies
  • lead adoption of new kitchen technologies and data analytics
  • evaluate and implement tools for operational efficiency
  • identify and develop future culinary leaders through mentoring and career development
  • establish performance metrics and career pathways
  • foster continuous learning and certification
  • promote cross-departmental collaboration
  • represent the department at industry events
  • communicate effectively at all organizational levels
  • set and uphold standards for excellence and professionalism
  • implement recognition systems for outstanding performance
  • regularly review and update SOPs and training materials
  • inspire and motivate the culinary team
