Employment here offers a unique opportunity to grow within a respected and well-established company with a strong emphasis on team collaboration and career development. Additionally, this is a full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package to support the health and well-being of employees and their families.

The role of the Culinary Executive or Senior Culinary Leader at Muckleshoot Casino Resort is a pivotal one focused on steering the culinary direction of the property. This leadership role entails acting as the face of the resort to new hires and team members by embodying the brand's core values while setting a standard of excellence in guest service and professionalism. The leader is responsible for partnering with the Food and Beverage Director and senior leadership to shape the long-term culinary vision and strategy, driving innovation through the adoption of new food trends, technologies, and guest experience enhancements. The position includes full P&L responsibility for culinary operations, requiring skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and vendor negotiations to maximize profitability and operational efficiency. This role stresses the importance of using data and analytics to inform decisions about menu engineering, labor optimization, and guest feedback, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.

Beyond financial and operational responsibilities, the role involves creating unique culinary programs including new concepts, pop-up events, and VIP and loyalty experiences that exceed guest expectations and position the resort as a regional leader in food and beverage. This executive will lead crisis management efforts such as foodborne illness responses and supply chain challenges, ensuring compliance with current regulations and proactively updating policy and procedure documentation. The position places significant emphasis on team development and culture-building, including succession planning, mentoring, and fostering continuous learning opportunities that facilitate career growth. Collaboration with other departments such as marketing, events, and hotel operations is crucial to delivering integrated guest experiences.

Effective communication and representation at industry events are expected, along with setting high standards for professionalism and integrity. This role champions operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a positive organizational culture, with systems in place for recognizing and rewarding outstanding team performance. The successful candidate will embody leadership and innovation, driving the culinary operations forward with passion, creativity, and strategic insight, making this an exciting opportunity for an experienced culinary professional seeking to shape and elevate culinary standards within a high-volume, multifaceted casino resort environment.
