Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years experience in kitchen supervisory role
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • ability to work 55 to 60 hours per week
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including opening and closing
  • proficiency in budgeting and scheduling

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience in kitchen management or a similar leadership role
  • strong knowledge of food safety regulations
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • ability to manage labor budgets and food cost
  • experience in scheduling large teams
  • culinary degree or relevant certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Opening or closing the kitchen
  • leading a team of 20 or more employees
  • ensuring every plate goes out to guests at the highest standard
  • following all food safety policies
  • budgeting for labor based on sales forecast
  • scheduling for 20 or more back of house employees
  • communicating to all employees
  • costing out and pricing daily specials
