Job Requirements
- Relevant culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior kitchen leadership role
- Proven track record managing large kitchen teams
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Proficiency in inventory and cost management systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or strong Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume, upscale environment
- Experience with scratch kitchens and Southern/coastal cuisine
- Strong financial management skills including food and labor cost control
- Excellent leadership and team development abilities
- Ability to manage operations in a fast-paced, tourist-driven market
- Culinary creativity combined with operational discipline
Job Duties
- Lead all back-of-house operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Drive menu development with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and refined Southern/coastal cuisine
- Maintain and elevate food quality, presentation, and consistency across all service periods (brunch, lunch, dinner)
- Manage food cost, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure profitability without compromising quality
- Foster a positive, professional kitchen culture focused on accountability, growth, and retention
- Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership to ensure a seamless guest experience
