Job Requirements

  • Relevant culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior kitchen leadership role
  • Proven track record managing large kitchen teams
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Proficiency in inventory and cost management systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or strong Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume, upscale environment
  • Experience with scratch kitchens and Southern/coastal cuisine
  • Strong financial management skills including food and labor cost control
  • Excellent leadership and team development abilities
  • Ability to manage operations in a fast-paced, tourist-driven market
  • Culinary creativity combined with operational discipline

Job Duties

  • Lead all back-of-house operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Drive menu development with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and refined Southern/coastal cuisine
  • Maintain and elevate food quality, presentation, and consistency across all service periods (brunch, lunch, dinner)
  • Manage food cost, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure profitability without compromising quality
  • Foster a positive, professional kitchen culture focused on accountability, growth, and retention
  • Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership to ensure a seamless guest experience
