The role of Executive Chef at Crescent Hotels & Resorts is integral to upholding the culinary excellence that the company is known for. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading culinary operations as an Executive Chef
  • Proven leadership ability in high-volume kitchens
  • Experience in menu development and quality assurance
  • Effective communication and team management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks daily
  • Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling standards
  • Willingness to mentor and train culinary staff

Job Qualifications

  • Proven progressive culinary experience in a fast-paced operation
  • Minimum of 3 years leading culinary operations as an Executive Chef
  • Previous leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to develop menu items catering to diverse tastes
  • Innovative mindset with curiosity about food trends
  • Strong mentoring and team development skills

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of the culinary department including menu concepting and design
  • Ensure quality preparation and proper handling/storage of all food items
  • Interview, hire, train, and evaluate culinary associates
  • Establish daily priorities and assign production tasks
  • Ensure kitchen areas are stocked with necessary tools, supplies, and equipment
  • Review banquet event orders and requisition supplies
  • Conduct frequency walk-throughs and coach associates
  • Assist Catering department in developing special menus
  • Oversee continuous training programs for staff
