Job Description
We are a dynamic and bustling establishment seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team. Our company is known for its commitment to excellence, quality food, and exceptional service within a fast-paced and social environment. We pride ourselves on our collaborative leadership culture and clear expectations that empower our staff to thrive and excel. This is a fantastic opportunity for a culinary professional who takes pride in running a tight kitchen operation and leading a team with integrity and professionalism.
This full-time, salaried leadership role offers meaningful ownership of kitchen performance and the chance to contribute creatively to our menus, special features, and event executions. The Kitchen Manager will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, recipe standards, portion control, and presentation meet the highest expectations. Partnering closely with Event Planners and Operations staff, the role will coordinate events and catering to deliver memorable dining experiences. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage labor and costs effectively, and a hands-on leader willing to support the team during service and events. Availability for evenings, weekends, and extended hours is expected to meet business demands and event schedules.
The successful candidate will lead, train, and develop the kitchen staff, schedule labor in alignment with business volume, support hiring and performance management initiatives, manage ordering and inventory to control food cost and minimize waste, and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards. This role demands a steady professional leader who performs well under pressure and fosters a cohesive, motivated kitchen team. If you have at least five years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment and two years in leadership or management, coupled with ServSafe Certification and preferably a culinary degree, you may be the perfect fit for our team. Join us and be part of a rewarding culinary career where your leadership truly shapes the kitchen’s success.
