This role is a full-time, salaried leadership position that offers the opportunity to take full ownership of kitchen operations. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, training, and developing kitchen staff to ensure high performance and growth. You will manage labor scheduling to align with business volume and event requirements, support recruitment and onboarding processes, and oversee performance management initiatives.

Maintaining food quality is paramount in this role, including adherence to recipe standards, portion control, and presentation. You will also be tasked with creating and executing approved weekly features and special menus, collaborating closely with Event Planners and Operations teams to flawlessly execute events and catering services. Your responsibilities extend to managing ordering, inventory, food costs, and minimizing waste, ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently and profitably.

Health, safety, and sanitation standards must be rigorously maintained, with compliance to food safety regulations and equipment upkeep. Opening and closing the kitchen according to established procedures will be part of your routine duties, as will stepping in to support the kitchen team during busy service periods and events.

This leadership opportunity is ideal for a seasoned professional with 5 or more years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment and at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. A ServSafe Certification is required, and a culinary degree or certification is preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under pressure are essential qualities for success in this position. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours is also necessary to meet the needs of our service schedule.
