Job Requirements
- Culinary degree from a central accredited culinary institute or equivalent
- 6-8 years of proven culinary experience in banquet hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment
- Minimum 4 years in a leadership role such as Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Sous Chef
- Understanding of advanced culinary arts, restaurant management and public health relations
- Basic computer skills and MS Office skills
- Advanced experience with managing payroll, California payroll law, budgets, and food/menu cost controls
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
- Service-driven mindset with polished presentation abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and backgrounds
- High energy, enterprising spirit, and a passion for excellence
- Demonstrated ability to improve operational and financial performance

Job Duties
- Direct and oversee culinary operations for all Napa Valley Wine Train experiences
- Develop and plan menus considering members, guests, marketing conditions, costs, and execution factors
- Manage culinary team and ensure excellence in food preparation and presentation
- Oversee payroll management, budgets, and food/menu cost controls
- Collaborate with diverse teams to enhance operational and financial performance
- Maintain compliance with public health regulations and restaurant management standards
- Foster a service-driven environment with polished presentation and guest satisfaction
