The role of Executive Chef at Napa Valley Wine Train represents a unique opportunity to lead and oversee the culinary operations that serve as the heart of this celebrated journey. In this full-time position, the Executive Chef will have the responsibility of directing the culinary team and managing all aspects of menu creation, execution, and service across all Wine Train experiences. Job Requirements
- Culinary degree from a central accredited culinary institute or equivalent
- 6-8 years of proven culinary experience in banquet hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment
- Minimum 4 years in a leadership role such as Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Sous Chef
- Understanding of advanced culinary arts, restaurant management and public health relations
- Basic computer skills and MS Office skills
- Advanced experience with managing payroll, California payroll law, budgets, and food/menu cost controls
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
- Service-driven mindset with polished presentation abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Job Duties
