Job Requirements
- 2+ years of culinary experience (culinary training preferred)
- At least 1 year of leadership experience (2+ years in food service management preferred)
- Knowledge of state dietary regulations and food safety standards
- A genuine passion for serving seniors and enhancing their dining experience
Job Qualifications
- 5-10 years of kitchen leadership experience
- Background in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant environments
- Experience managing high-volume kitchen operations
- Strong standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification
- Experience with menu development balancing flavor, nutrition, and cost
- Familiarity with special diets (low sodium, diabetic, heart-healthy)
- Proven labor management and scheduling skills
- Strong inventory control and cost management experience
- Ability to train, coach, and develop kitchen staff
- Hands-on leadership presence during service
