Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of culinary experience including executive chef responsibilities
- Experience in a high-volume, upscale casual or fine dining environment
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage kitchen operations including inventory, ordering, and staffing
- Knowledge of budgeting, food, and labor cost control
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of executive chef experience within a high-volume restaurant
- At least 2 years of fine dining kitchen experience
- 2 years supervisory experience within a kitchen setting
- Formal culinary training is preferred but not required
- ServSafe certification
Job Duties
- Proper understanding of cooking, butchering, and fabricating techniques, including proper knife skills
- Creativity in the kitchen, providing mentorship and coaching to all associates
- Manage staff and handle hiring, terminations, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain and manage inventory and ordering for the kitchen
- Ability to meet food and labor goals set by COO, knowledge of budgeting
- P&L statement competency, ability to read a spreadsheet, cost sheet knowledge
- Work with seasonal menus and specials
- Build and maintain relationships with team, guests, and vendors
- Lead a team in a high-pressure kitchen environment
