The Executive Chef role is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the kitchen and dining operations within the community. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years culinary experience in hospitality
- Food handlers permit as required
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to resolve customer and employee issues
- Compliance with company motor vehicle policies

Job Duties
- Interviewing, hiring, training, developing, and performance managing staff
- Scheduling hours, breaks, and meal periods
- Maintaining monthly and annual budgets for culinary services
- Producing documentation of monthly spend on food, supplies, and labor
- Maintaining inventory of kitchen supplies, small wares, and table ware
- Ensuring purchasing standards and vendor relationships
- Ensuring food preparation, storage, and service compliance
- Meeting regularly with residents and family members
- Providing staff guidance on customer service
- Coordinating front and back of house staff collaboration
- Supporting health department and customer satisfaction goals
- Submitting budget and operational reports
- Maintaining employee engagement
- Delegating tasks to maintain cleanliness and quality
- Conducting meetings, in-services, and pre-meal stand ups
- Ensuring proper equipment use
- Assisting in planning and execution of events
