Located in Omaha, Nebraska, the Topgolf venue is currently seeking an Executive Chef to lead its culinary team. This full-time position offers an annual base salary starting at $84,000, with additional competitive quarterly bonuses, a merit plan, comprehensive benefits, a 401K plan with company matching, and a generous paid time off (PTO) package. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary activities within the venue, ensuring that every guest enjoys exceptional food quality and outstanding service. Your leadership will be crucial in managing the kitchen team by providing supervision, training, and coaching that fosters both personal and professional growth. You will spearhead culinary operations including labor scheduling, inventory management, vendor relations, and maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation standards.

The Executive Chef must have a deep understanding of cost control practices with expertise in managing food and labor costs relative to budget and cost of goods sold (COGS). You will develop and standardize production recipes to maintain consistency and quality across all menu items and establish presentation techniques that enhance the guest dining experience. Additionally, you will create and cost menus tailored for special events and chef’s choice offerings, ensuring creativity and culinary excellence. Your ability to collaborate effectively with upper management, home office leadership, and external vendors is essential to the success of the role.

This role demands the capacity to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment, requiring physical stamina such as standing, walking for extended periods, lifting heavy items up to 50 pounds, and working in high-temperature kitchen conditions.   • Bachelor's degree or related culinary degree preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lb
  • Ability to stoop and bend
  • Ability to work in high-temperature conditions (up to 100 degrees) for extended periods of time

Job Duties

  • Supervise the team in providing best-in-class culinary experiences
  • Coach and develop the team and drive associate engagement
  • Delegate tasks and work with your team

  • Monitor inventory and purchase product
  • Maintain food and labor costs according to budget, with a full understanding of COGS
  • Select and develop recipes to corporate approval
  • Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
  • Establish presentation technique and maintain quality standards
  • Plan and cost menus for special events, chef choice menus
  • Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance
  • Oversee safety and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Create action plans to respond to opportunities
  • Communicate and effectively partner with upper management, home office leadership and vendors
