Job Requirements
- Minimum of five years experience as an executive chef or in a similar leadership culinary role
- Valid Food Handlers card
- Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and motivate staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Experience with menu development and catering services
- Familiarity with nutritional software systems is desirable

Job Duties
- Champion Pacific Retirement Services culture by ingraining our mission, vision, and core values into all aspects of the role
- Build strong relationships with residents and team members through empathy, genuine communication, and personalized dining experiences
- Maintain visible leadership presence in dining venues and actively participate in resident and team events
- Oversee all back-of-house culinary functions including recipe creation, menu planning, catering, and healthcare cuisine
- Train, coach, and mentor culinary staff ensuring consistent onboarding and adherence to service standards
- Maintain exemplary results on corporate assessments, satisfaction surveys, and health inspections by upholding food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards
- Collaborate with leadership to manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial accuracy
- Partner with Dining Services Director, Registered Dietician, and Corporate Culinary leadership to innovate and enhance dining programs
