Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of executive chef experience in an upscale steakhouse or fine dining environment
  • Proven expertise in steak program execution, dry-aging, butchery knowledge, and premium protein sourcing
  • Strong background in financial acumen, budgeting, and cost control
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams in high-volume, high-expectation environments
  • Experience collaborating with hotel operations preferred
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for community engagement and building a destination dining experience

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute a refined, modern American chophouse menu with premium steaks, fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients, and chef-driven features
  • Maintain uncompromising standards for quality, consistency, presentation, and flavor
  • Introduce seasonal menus, tasting events, wine dinners, and community-driven culinary experiences
  • Partner with local farmers, ranchers, and purveyors to showcase regional products and elevate the guest experience
  • Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing culinary team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, professionalism, and collaboration
  • Develop sous chefs and line cooks through structured training and growth opportunities
  • Lead by example with hands-on involvement during service
  • Work closely with Front of House leadership to ensure flawless service flow and guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate on special events, chef’s tables, private dining, and community activations
  • Maintain strong communication between BOH and FOH to deliver exceptional hospitality
  • Drive profitability through cost control, inventory management, and labor optimization
  • Maintain food cost targets while upholding premium product standards
  • Oversee purchasing, vendor negotiations, and supplier partnerships
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Partner with leadership at the sister hotel to oversee all food & beverage programming, including banquets, catering, and special events
  • Align culinary standards across both properties while preserving the chophouse’s distinct identity
