We are seeking an Executive Chef who will lead the culinary strategy and execution for our dynamic off-premise catering operations. This role is perfect for a visionary culinary leader with a passion for creativity, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality. The Executive Chef will be responsible for designing and delivering elevated, customized menus that reflect our clients' unique visions for weddings, corporate galas, and private celebrations. By collaborating closely with clients and event planners, this leader will ensure each culinary experience is tailored to perfection.

The Executive Chef will oversee culinary innovation by incorporating seasonal, sustainable, and locally sourced ingredients into trend-forward offerings that keep us competitive in the luxury events market. Leading tastings and menu presentations with confidence and sophistication will be a key aspect of this role. Operationally, the Executive Chef manages all culinary activities for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale galas of over 1,000 guests, guaranteeing impeccable food quality, presentation, timing, and consistency across multiple off-site venues.

This position carries full profit and loss accountability for the culinary division, requiring strong financial acumen to develop pricing models, manage food and labor costs, and optimize vendor relationships and procurement strategies. The Executive Chef will create scalable systems to ensure restaurant-quality cuisine is consistently delivered in a variety of non-traditional settings while working closely with operations and events teams to coordinate logistics and kitchen flow at remote locations.

Team leadership is a critical component of this role. The Executive Chef will recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing culinary team, establish training programs focusing on technique, consistency, sanitation, and luxury service standards, and foster a culture of professionalism, creativity, accountability, and pride.

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all commissary and off-site venues is essential, along with maintaining the necessary certifications and documentation. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of progressive culinary leadership experience in the luxury catering or multi-venue event sector, proven success managing large-scale off-premise events, and a refined palate with extensive knowledge of global cuisines and modern culinary trends.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of culinary leadership experience in luxury or multi-venue catering
  • Proven track record of managing off-premise catering events with large guest counts
  • Demonstrated financial management experience including P&L accountability
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and client collaboration abilities
  • Valid ServSafe Certification or equivalent
  • Ability to travel to diverse off-site venues and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience, with significant luxury catering or multi-venue event experience
  • Proven success managing large-scale off-premise events
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L management experience
  • Expertise in menu costing, procurement strategy, and vendor negotiations
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Refined palate and deep knowledge of global cuisines, modern techniques, and culinary trends
  • ServSafe Certification (or equivalent)
