As the Restaurant Senior Sous Chef, you will play an integral role in managing culinary operations across multiple outlets including Estuary, the rooftop bar, lobby lounge, and in-room dining services. Reporting directly to the Executive Sous Chef of Outlets, you will lead a team of 15 to 20 culinary professionals, fostering a culture of learning, creativity, and operational excellence. This leadership position requires a highly motivated individual capable of driving business growth through effective staff development, menu innovation, and diligent organizational skills. With at least three years of culinary leadership experience in upscale dining environments—preferably within a hotel brand—you will be instrumental in upholding Conrad's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. This role not only demands a thorough understanding of kitchen operations but also excellent interpersonal skills to monitor guest feedback and tailor culinary offerings accordingly. Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in directing culinary operations including meal preparation and production
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor team member productivity and performance including training and scheduling
  • Interact with guests to assess satisfaction and implement improvements
  • Assist in menu creation for special events and banquets
  • Oversee compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Provide hands-on leadership to ensure timely food production
