We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef to take charge of our back-of-house operations. This role is a hands-on leadership position requiring a chef with a deep passion for flawless execution, unwavering consistency, and the ability to cultivate strong, capable teams. The Executive Chef will collaborate closely with restaurant leadership to establish and maintain the highest standards for food quality, recipe execution, kitchen organization, and overall operational efficiency. The successful candidate will take ownership of all aspects of kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, sanitation, and cost control, ensuring that every service runs smoothly and reflects the excellence of our culinary philosophy.

The Executive Chef’s responsibilities extend beyond daily kitchen management to include monitoring labor schedules and productivity to optimize service flow, managing par levels and ordering systems to minimize waste, and maintaining strict adherence to food safety regulations. This role also requires active support and development of sous chefs and kitchen staff through coaching and mentoring, fostering an environment of professional growth and teamwork. A vital aspect of the position is partnering with front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining room that elevates the guest experience.

Job Requirements

  • Experience as an executive chef in high-volume upscale dining

Job Duties

  • Lead daily BOH operations in a high-volume scratch kitchen
  • stay connected to the line prep and service flow
  • set and maintain standards for food quality recipe execution presentation and kitchen organization
  • ensure the highest levels of cleanliness food safety and sanitation at all times
  • oversee labor scheduling staffing and productivity to support smooth efficient service
  • manage par levels ordering systems inventory and waste control to protect food and labor costs
  • support P and L performance through disciplined cost control and budgeting awareness
  • coach mentor and develop sous chefs and kitchen staff building teams that perform and stay
  • work closely with FOH leadership to keep service seamless between the kitchen and dining room
  • partner with leadership to identify operational improvements that support consistency and profitability
  • maintain a working understanding of beverage offerings including wine to support menu pairings and the overall guest experience
  • lead by example in the kitchen setting the tone for professionalism accountability and teamwork
