Job Description
Lucky Strike Entertainment, formerly known as Bowlero Corp, is a leading name in the location-based entertainment industry. With over 360 locations across North America, the company specializes in providing high-quality experiential offerings including bowling alleys, amusement areas, water parks, and family entertainment centers. Lucky Strike Entertainment is not only a hub for recreational activities but also a media powerhouse as the owner of the Professional Bowlers Association, which is recognized as the major league of bowling with a global fanbase. The company prides itself on creating fun, engaging, and memorable experiences for individuals and groups, making it a sought-after destination for entertainment. Operating within such an energetic and fast-paced environment means that all team members, especially management, play crucial roles to maintain the brand's national reputation for quality and service.
The Kitchen Manager role at Lucky Strike Entertainment is a pivotal position combining culinary expertise with strong leadership and management skills. As the guardian of the Food and Beverage program, the Kitchen Manager is responsible for bringing the nationally recognized menus to life, ensuring food quality and presentation meet high standards, and managing kitchen operations efficiently. This position offers an annual salary range of $55,000 to $60,000 along with performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare coverage and other perks. This full-time role demands a motivated individual capable of handling all aspects of kitchen management within a fast-paced, high-volume retail and entertainment setting.
In this role, the Kitchen Manager will oversee budgeted revenue, control costs related to food, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow, and make necessary adjustments based on monthly profit and loss statements. Working closely with the operations team and sales staff, they will plan and supervise all events, from preparation through service and cleanup, sometimes assisting with cooking to ensure smooth execution. Efficient scheduling and inventory management are key responsibilities, as is building an all-star kitchen team through recruitment, training, and retention. Maintaining the best product quality and compliance with Department of Health regulations through sanitation audits and equipment maintenance is essential. The Kitchen Manager also supports the General Manager on all food-related matters and leads a diverse team including lead cooks, cooks, dishwashers, and servers. Previous experience with banquet-style events and catering is advantageous but not mandatory. Overall, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead within a dynamic entertainment company where culinary arts, event management, and customer service excellence intersect.
