Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
  • 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • Ability to lead kitchen management team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • Experience with budgeting and expense management
  • Capability to mentor and develop staff

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years of culinary or food service experience
  • or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related field with 4 years experience
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong culinary and food safety knowledge
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Experience in menu development and food presentation

Job Duties

  • Leads kitchen management team
  • Provides direction for all day-to-day operations
  • Supervises and coordinates food preparation activities
  • Develops and implements purchasing and receiving procedures
  • Monitors food quality and presentation
  • Ensures compliance with sanitation and food safety standards
  • Manages employee training and performance appraisal process
