The role of an Executive Chef at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is vital to upholding the restaurant's tradition of excellence. This position commands a leadership presence in the kitchen and is responsible for driving high standards in food preparation, kitchen operations, and team management. The Executive Chef’s primary focus is ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets the exacting standards of quality and presentation that guests expect. Beyond culinary expertise, this role involves managing the restaurant’s profit and loss specifically related to kitchen operations, developing strategies to boost sales and profitability, and cultivating an inclusive and motivated team. The Executive Chef is a key contributor to creating memorable experiences by authentically engaging with guests and participating in community outreach. Safety, sanitation, and fostering a positive and respectful workplace environment are non-negotiable aspects of the role. This position requires a minimum of three years’ experience in senior kitchen leadership roles and a passion for maintaining high culinary standards within a fine dining or casual-plus restaurant setting. Job Requirements
- 3 years minimum as an Executive Chef, Executive Kitchen Manager or Regional Chef
- Prior experience at a fine dining or casual plus restaurant highly preferred
- 2-year culinary degree a plus
- ServSafe Sanitation certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Chef, Executive Kitchen Manager or Regional Chef

- Culinary degree preferred

- Business acumen in managing kitchen P&L
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

- Being the restaurant of choice and the face of Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar by creating memorable experiences for our guests and authentically connecting to your community by participating in community outreach activities and events
- Exhibiting strong business acumen and driving results through complete management of your restaurant's P&L specifically kitchen, developing initiatives to build sales, increase profitability, growing the guest count of your restaurant and coaching your team on their impact to the P&L
- Taking pride in presenting quality food by ensuring that all menu items are made according to recipe and the presentation is to our high standards
- Enforcing safety and sanitation practices by showcasing a passion for excellence and maintaining immaculate facilities
