As an Executive Chef at Aramark, you will play a pivotal role in bringing recipes to life, transforming fresh ingredients into culinary masterpieces while exercising your creativity. You will also be responsible for handling kitchen tools and appliances safely, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen compartments, and complying with all food safety regulations to uphold hygienic standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience as a cook or in a culinary role
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene protocols
  • Valid food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong cooking skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes and production guidelines
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Past experience working as a cook or in a similar culinary position
  • Firm grasp of the fundamentals of cooking techniques and principles of food preparation
  • Having a grasp of food safety standards and hygiene protocols is essential
  • Acquire the pertinent food safety certification, if it has not been obtained as yet
  • Core competencies in arithmetic and numerical counting
  • Apt in effectively communicating and collaborating within a team
  • Having a high school diploma or an equivalent certification is suggested but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Follow set production guidelines and recipes to prepare a variety of meals
  • Set up workstations by laying out essential ingredients and tools
  • Process ingredients by chopping, trimming, measuring, blending, and so forth
  • Handle a diverse array of kitchen tools and appliances, like knives, ovens, stoves, and mixers, with safety precautions in mind
  • Employ a variety of cooking techniques like baking, broiling, roasting, and steaming to prepare and create diverse meals
  • Follow established norms to layout, decorate, and serve food to meet presentation requirements
  • Conform to all food safety regulations and store food in the recommended manner
  • Clean and sterilize kitchen compartments, tools, and utensils to uphold sanitation standards
  • Give superior customer assistance and uphold a positive demeanor
  • Maintain strict compliance with Aramark's safety and sanitation regulations
  • Guarantee the protection of corporate possessions
