Job Requirements

  • 3-5 plus years of experience as an executive chef or senior culinary leader
  • accredited culinary or college degree required
  • food manager certification required
  • certified executive chef (cec) preferred
  • ability to lead and mentor teams
  • strong financial and operational management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • commitment to quality and safety standards

Job Duties

  • lead the culinary vision by creating exceptional lifestyle experiences
  • design and execute menus reflecting seasonality and member preferences
  • collaborate on menu pricing, banquets, and signature events
  • utilize menu engineering and POS analytics to drive quality and profitability
  • direct all culinary production ensuring excellence in preparation and presentation
  • oversee food procurement, inventory management, and quality control
  • maintain standards for sanitation, food safety, and operational efficiency
  • ensure effective use of the Jonas Point of Sale system
  • manage food, labor, and operating costs aligned with budgetary goals
  • implement cost controls preserving culinary creativity and satisfaction
  • partner in inventory accuracy, pricing, and reporting
  • recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing culinary team
  • create schedules, roles, and expectations supporting business and team well-being
  • lead performance management, coaching, and advancement
  • champion workplace safety and compliance
  • engage with members and guests through dining room visits and feedback
  • respond to special requests with professionalism and grace
  • practice immediate service recovery and communicate concerns
  • serve as culinary ambassador within the community and industry
  • model and reinforce Bluejack’s cultural beliefs
  • collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional service
  • support the team and lead by example daily
