We are currently seeking an Executive Chef who is passionate about scratch cooking and delivering exceptional dining experiences. This leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a talented culinary team and set a new gold standard in senior living hospitality. The Executive Chef will play a critical role in shaping the culinary vision and maintaining the highest standards for food quality, presentation, and safety. The ideal candidate will bring a strong financial and operational acumen combined with experience in training, team development, and managing multi-unit culinary operations. They will be instrumental in overseeing food purchasing, preparation, storage, and presentation while adhering to budget constraints and complying with all federal and state food safety regulations, including Health Department and HACCP protocols.

This full-time role offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. A generous $7,500 signing bonus is also offered to the right candidate. The successful candidate will be integral to establishing strong relationships with residents through frequent dining room visits and engagement meetings, ensuring consistent food quality and customer satisfaction.

The Executive Chef will supervise all food production and utility staff to ensure efficiency and excellence in the kitchen. Responsibilities also include maintaining core menus, recipe management systems, and back-of-house computer systems. Conducting monthly internal audits to ensure kitchen and equipment sanitation are also vital components of the role. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an executive chef
  • Proven experience in fine dining preferred
  • Knowledge of a la carte and catering trends
  • Focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and food presentation
  • Proficient with PC software and POS systems including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage budgets and food purchasing
  • Familiarity with federal and state food safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years executive chef experience
  • Fine dining experience a plus
  • Knowledge of a la carte and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and food presentation
  • Good knowledge of PC software and POS systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Job Duties
