The Executive Chef at CUT New York is the culinary and operational leader of the flagship kitchen, responsible for maintaining the highest standards in food quality, consistency, and execution. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years experience as an executive chef
  • At least 6+ years progressive leadership experience in upscale kitchens
  • Proven culinary expertise in steakhouse and seafood menus
  • Knowledge of food cost and labor management
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to maintain composure and lead by example under pressure
  • Experience working in luxury or multi-outlet environments a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of proven experience as an executive chef in a luxury, high-volume fine-dining restaurant
  • At least 6+ years of progressive back-of-house leadership experience in upscale or fine-dining kitchens
  • Strong background in steakhouse, seafood, and premium ingredient-driven menus
  • Experience in hotel, luxury hospitality, or multi-outlet operations is a plus
  • Demonstrated success managing food cost, labor cost, and kitchen profitability
  • Strong leadership skills including talent development, building bench strength, and internal promotions
  • Ability to lead by example with a calm, confident presence in service-driven, high-pressure environments
