We are currently seeking a visionary Executive Chef to lead the culinary strategy and execution of our off-premise catering division. This role is ideal for a creative and operationally sophisticated leader who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys crafting exceptional and customized culinary experiences. The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of culinary innovation, team development, procurement, and full profit and loss accountability. This position demands a leader who can seamlessly blend creativity with operational excellence to enhance our competitive positioning in the luxury events market. Our Executive Chef will collaborate closely with clients and event planners to deliver personalized and elevated menu offerings that reflect each client’s vision. They will also ensure flawless execution across multiple off-site venues, maintaining impeccable food quality, presentation, and consistency.

In addition to culinary leadership, the Executive Chef manages the recruitment, mentoring, and training of a high-performing culinary team, fostering a culture of professionalism, creativity, accountability, and pride. Financial acumen is critically important for this role as the Executive Chef is responsible for pricing strategy, cost control, vendor relationships, and forecasting. They will also ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards across commissary and off-site operations. This role requires extensive experience with large-scale events and the ability to develop scalable systems that maintain restaurant-quality cuisine in diverse and non-traditional settings.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum of 8 years of experience in culinary leadership roles
  • prior experience managing off-premise or luxury catering events
  • proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • strong understanding of costing pricing and budget management
  • excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • ability to travel to various event locations
  • proficiency in food safety and sanitation standards
  • readiness to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 8 plus years of progressive culinary leadership experience with significant luxury catering or multi-venue event experience
  • proven success managing large-scale off-premise events
  • strong financial acumen with demonstrated P and L management experience
  • expertise in menu costing procurement strategy and vendor negotiations
  • exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • refined palate and deep knowledge of global cuisines modern techniques and culinary trends
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent
