Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 years experience in culinary or food and beverage field or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel and Restaurant Management with at least 4 years experience
  • Ability to lead and manage kitchen operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation protocols
  • Capability to develop and mentor staff
  • Financial acumen for managing budgets and costs

Job Qualifications

  • or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel and Restaurant Management

  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience in budgeting and financial management

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen management team
  • Provide direction for all day-to-day operations
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation
  • Develop and implement guidelines and control procedures for purchasing and receiving
  • Monitor quality of raw and cooked food products
  • Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • Manage employee performance and training
