Job Requirements

  • 2-year college degree and 3+ years of related experience
  • or 4-year degree and 1-2 years of related experience
  • or Culinary degree with 1-2 years of progressive hotel/restaurant experience
  • Supervisory/management experience required
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing software
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets, control costs, and interpret data

  • At least 5 years of progressive culinary experience in a hotel or similar high-volume setting
  • Supervisory and management experience required
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing software

  • Financial acumen to manage budgets, control costs, and interpret data

Job Duties

  • Direct all food preparation and production across outlets, room service, banquets, and employee cafeteria
  • Develop and maintain standardized recipes, plating guides, and food specifications to ensure consistent quality
  • Maintain food costs within budget guidelines while ensuring top-quality products and presentation
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and clean as you go standards
  • Oversee receiving and proper storage of food items, ensuring adherence to safety and HACCP standards
  • Expedite peak meal periods with a hands-on presence and active communication
  • Plan and price daily specials, review menu abstracts and P.O.S. reports, and adjust menus quarterly or as directed
