Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent
  • Five years of hospitality or related experience
  • Ability to inspire develop and mentor employees
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Computer skills including MS Office and scheduling software
  • Knowledge of store operations finances and ethical business practices
  • Flexibility to work a minimum of 50 hours per week with potential for additional hours

Job Duties

  • Direct kitchen operations including food preparation cooking and cleanup

  • Resolve issues to maintain timely customer order fulfillment
  • Ensure kitchen and wait staff adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Plan menus and set prices adjusting based on ingredient availability
  • Inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee quality
  • Collaborate with general manager and owner to align kitchen operations with business goals
  • Direct monthly inventory
  • Maintain vendor relationships
  • Recruit hire and train kitchen staff
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and schedule repairs
  • Perform all assigned duties
