Job Requirements
- Ability to learn, grow, and evolve
- experience leading a full scratch kitchen as an executive chef, kitchen manager, or executive sous chef
- experience crafting seasonally curated and guest-focused menus
- ability to manage fixed food, labor, and product costs
- ability to lead a kitchen to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
- ability to develop relationships with staff, guests, and residents
- passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
- must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
- willingness to comply with health and safety guidelines including possible vaccination and PPE use
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive chef or similar leadership role in a full scratch kitchen
- strong knowledge of seasonal menu development and food preparation
- excellent leadership and team management skills
- adept at cost control and budget management in a culinary environment
- ability to deliver exceptional food quality with a focus on customer satisfaction
- familiarity with modern kitchen equipment and technology
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Develop and execute seasonal menus focused on fresh, high-quality ingredients
- manage all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, staffing, and inventory
- control food, labor, and product costs to meet budgetary goals
- lead, mentor, and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure outstanding performance and morale
- ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- cultivate relationships with staff, residents, and guests to enhance food service experience
- utilize cutting-edge kitchen technologies to improve operational efficiency
