Job Requirements

  • minimum 5 years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred but not required
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • proven track record in managing banquet style events
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • current ServSafe certification
  • ability to obtain ServSafe instructor certification preferred
  • ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • capability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods and lift with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of kitchen management or Executive Chef experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • extensive banquet style event experience
  • experience managing and developing teams required
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food preparation, service, and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • schedule staff to accommodate business volume shifts
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
  • ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and implement sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with Department of Health regulations
  • report critical issues to the General Manager
