Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • current ServSafe certification
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment requiring standing, bending, walking, and lifting with assistance
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • willingness to work flexible hours including events and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • extensive banquet-style event experience
  • proven ability to manage and develop teams
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • high-level profit and loss management capability
  • organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including preparation, service, and cleanup of food and beverage
  • assist with cooking when needed
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • develop key staff members including sous chefs and lead cooks
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits
  • implement cleaning schedules complying with health regulations
  • report critical issues to General Manager
