Job Duties

- Develop and implement creative menus for all outlets and catering
- Oversee kitchen operations including procurement and production
- Develop recipes and implement cost controls
- Conduct line checks and manage production schedules
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and conformance to safety standards
- Monitor inventory and optimize food cost management
- Use labor management tools to set staffing levels
- Prepare schedules to maximize productivity
- Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff
- Engage in capital project development and implementation
- Participate in weekly operational and banquet event meetings
- Enforce compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations
- Respond to food-related feedback and implement corrective actions
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance
- Promote teamwork and cooperation within kitchen and related departments
- Represent the hotel in media and community food promotional events
