Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Lead culinary team to execute high standard food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and implement creative menus for all outlets and catering
  • Oversee kitchen operations including procurement and production
  • Develop recipes and implement cost controls
  • Conduct line checks and manage production schedules
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and conformance to safety standards
  • Monitor inventory and optimize food cost management
  • Use labor management tools to set staffing levels
  • Prepare schedules to maximize productivity
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff
  • Engage in capital project development and implementation
  • Participate in weekly operational and banquet event meetings
  • Enforce compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations
  • Respond to food-related feedback and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation within kitchen and related departments
  • Represent the hotel in media and community food promotional events
  • Lead departmental meetings and support staff involvement in hotel committees
