Job Requirements

  • Minimum culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • prior experience leading a kitchen in a hotel environment
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • strong organizational skills
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing and walking for long hours
  • excellent customer service orientation
  • familiarity with labor management tools

Job Duties

  • Lead culinary team to execute at a high level
  • develop and implement creative menus focused on revenue growth
  • oversee kitchen operations including procurement and production
  • develop recipes and cost controls
  • ensure food safety and sanitation compliance
  • prepare and monitor production schedules
  • manage staffing levels and productivity
  • maintain food quality and presentation standards
  • participate in hotel operational meetings
  • respond to food-related feedback and manage corrective actions
