Job Duties
- Consistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly service
- oversee daily operations of the kitchen department including banquets, outlets, in-room dining, staff cafeteria, and stewarding
- execute the hotel's strategic culinary plan
- develop and prepare creative menus tailored to various food service areas
- maintain food and beverage standards using standardized recipes and safe food handling practices
- monitor inventory levels, food cost controls, and implement promotional initiatives to optimize profitability
- prepare weekly schedules maximizing productivity and provide hands-on support
- recruit and maintain appropriate staffing levels
- manage colleague training, development, and performance management
- participate in departmental meetings and operational reviews
- ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
- respond to food-related feedback and manage proper reporting
- maintain kitchen equipment in good working order
- promote teamwork and strong interdepartmental relationships
- engage in media and community promotional activities
