Job Requirements

  • must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in food production or management
  • Serve Safe certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire
  • ability to understand and comply with health department regulations
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency in financial and operational management of dining services

Job Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years' previous experience in food production/management
  • must have a Serve Safe certification or become certified within 90 days of hire date
  • must have basic knowledge of food preparation procedures, proper dining room service etiquette, as well as related health department regulations and guidelines pertaining to food service operations

Job Duties

  • Oversight and responsibility for daily operations of our dining services department
  • hiring, training, and development of staff in conjunction with your leadership team
  • responsible for the overall financial and operational functions related to dining room service and culinary operations
  • creates and plans weekly menus for the community
  • ensures compliance with federal, state, and local sanitation regulations
  • conducts routine safety inspections of dining room, food storage areas, chemical storage areas, and food receiving area
