Job Requirements

  • minimum five years experience in kitchen management or executive chef role
  • current ServSafe certification
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant environments
  • excellent leadership and team development skills
  • strong financial acumen including managing budgets and cost controls
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • capability to lift objects with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • five plus years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • bachelors or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • extensive experience in banquet style events
  • experience managing and developing teams
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • adhere to the companys mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow for food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as needed
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including preparation, service, and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases according to food program
  • schedule staff efficiently for business volume shifts
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • develop key staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits
  • implement cleaning schedules
  • comply with local Department of Health regulations
  • report critical issues to General Manager
