Job Requirements
- minimum five years experience in kitchen management or executive chef role
- current ServSafe certification
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant environments
- excellent leadership and team development skills
- strong financial acumen including managing budgets and cost controls
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- capability to lift objects with assistance
Job Qualifications
- five plus years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- bachelors or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
- extensive experience in banquet style events
- experience managing and developing teams
- current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
Job Duties
- adhere to the companys mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow for food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as needed
- work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including preparation, service, and cleanup
- estimate food consumption and make purchases according to food program
- schedule staff efficiently for business volume shifts
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- develop key staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits
- implement cleaning schedules
- comply with local Department of Health regulations
- report critical issues to General Manager
