Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- current ServSafe certification
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
- ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication abilities
- willingness to adhere to company policies and health regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
- extensive experience in banquet style events
- proven experience managing and developing teams
- current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
- strong leadership and communication skills
- excellent organizational skills
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
- work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including food preparation, service, and cleanup
- estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
- schedule staff efficiently to match business volume fluctuations
- recruit, hire, train and retain kitchen staff
- develop key staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- implement and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with health regulations
- report critical issues to general manager
